- What Deal On Cars & Vans specialize in the sale vehicles, Calls to and from What Deal On Cars & Vans may be recorded for training purposes.
- The vehicles will be supplied with the balance of the manufacturer's warranty where available.
- What Deal On Cars & Vans will pass to you all keys, manuals, service records and radio codes received.
- The vehicle does not become the customer's until it is paid for with cleared funds
Deposits and Prepayments...
- A deposit of Five hundred pounds (£500) is required with every order to show the customer's commitment to purchase the vehicle and What Deal On Cars & Vans commitment to supply the vehicle. Any payment made in excess of £500 will have been individually negotiated between What Deal On Cars & Vans and the customer and is set out on the front of the invoice.
- If the customer fails to collect and pay the balance of the price without lawful reason by the agreed date, What Deal On Cars & Vans will be entitled to treat the agreement as cancelled by the customer and offer the vehicle for re-sale and claim from the customer any reasonable losses suffered which may include but are not limited to stocking charges, unrecoverable extras fitted to the vehicle, and any reduction in the value of the vehicle. What Deal On Cars & Vans will be entitled to use the deposit and any prepayment to reduce its reasonable losses. Any excess will be returned to the customer and any shortfall will be paid by the customer.
- Provisional Orders (Pre-Stock / Pre-Build) This means a vehicle which What Deal On Cars & Vans agreed to buy so it can sell to a customer where What Deal On Cars & Vans does not have a contract to buy the vehicle from their supplier.
- In such an event What Deal On Cars & Vans will make every reasonable effort to find such a vehicle for the price and description provisionally agreed.
- In the event that that proves impossible after a reasonable time either What Deal On Cars & Vans or the customer may cancel the provisional agreement, in which case neither party will make a claim against the other and What Deal On Cars & Vans will refund any deposit and prepayment.
Call Centre/Internet Deposits...
- What Deal On Cars & Vans do not undertake distance sales whether by the telephone/Internet or any other means.
- Where a customer sees a vehicle on the internet or in any other advertisement placed by What Deal On Cars & Vans they can pay a deposit of £500 over the telephone/Internet by credit or debit card.
- Such a deposit, if it is accepted, will become a holding deposit. What Deal On Cars & Vans will hold the vehicle for an agreed period for the customer to inspect.
- The taking of such a deposit by What Deal On Cars & Vans from the customer is onlyrefundable should the vehicle not be as described
- Nothing in this section shall apply to customers who visit What Deal On Cars & Vans premises and subsequently orders, over the telephone/Internet, a vehicle, which they have previously viewed.
- Once the customer has visited our showrooms, and decided to buy this vehicle (or any other vehicle) then they will be asked to sign an Order Form incorporating our standard Terms and Conditions for Showroom Sales.
Part Exchange...
- Any part exchange allowance agreed with a customer is either based upon the customer's description of the vehicle to What Deal On Cars & Vans or upon its inspection by What Deal On Cars & Vans .
- In the event of subsequent damage to the vehicle, fair wear and tear expected, or if the customer knowingly gave incorrect information concerning the vehicle or has concealed a defect in the vehicle which What Deal On Cars & Vans relied upon. What Deal On Cars & Vans may decline to take the vehicle, in which case What Deal On Cars & Vans will try to agree with the customer a new allowance. If no agreement can be reached the customer shall either pay the full price, or What Deal On Cars & Vans will be entitled to treat the agreement as cancelled by the customer and Claim any reasonable losses suffered.
Warranties...
- The vehicle will be supplied with the balance of the manufacturer's warranty where available. Manufacturer's warranties for imported vehicles may vary from those for vehicles manufactured in the UK.
- Any claim by the customer based upon defects in the quality or condition of the vehicle shall be notified to What Deal On Cars & Vans within a reasonable time of the date of delivery, or where the defects were not apparent on a reasonable inspection, within a reasonable time after discovery of the defects.
